We all need the following countries to try lowering their emissions  into the sky.  India, Russia, China, Middle East countries, Africa, South America, USA, Europe,  and then Canada. However in Canada, there are 3 of the 10 provinces who are already getting ripped off. with the Carbon cash cow. The PM of Canada also wants to force the rest f the provinces and territories to get on board as well.  and Canada is already trying to be a green country. Look at the vehicles, wit all the pollution filters on them.

Geezer

biggest problem we have is over population

A problem that might be slowed by aiding undeveloped countries who typically have the highest birth rates to become more educated, industrialized and wealthier. Contributing factors to high birth rate include Low Educational and Knowledge level, Lack of Technologies and Resources, and poverty. The birth rate of Niger (and seven other African countries) is 4x that of the USA.

as the poorer countries develop they consume more resources and fossil fuels so it is a double edged sword.

about 40 million abortions per year must be slowing things down a bit.

It is the rapier of higher birth rates and not a double edged sword that will hold down the poorer countries' access to more plentiful resources. They will tend in their desparation for survival to be vulnerable to resource plundering by more wealthy nations whose interest is not directed towards the development of poorer nations.
