computers down at phuket town immigration

Featured Replies

Just a heads up, they are not doing 90 day reports today and probably anything else involving computers

The computers are only there as a backup for their paperwork.

Mainly used to check your house registration is valid.  Without online link they can't easily check that.

You better tell the volunteers that, was told to come back tomorrow

I was there at 9am this morning.  Had to get a Multiple Re-entry permit, so I was fine.

They told everyone alse to stop getting queue numbers for 90 day reports about 09.15 and come back tomorrow.

I got told I would get a receipt and have to pick up my passport tomorrow, but about 20 minutes later he called me up and handed me everything back complete, so I was pretty chuffed about that.

past 2 times i have been in for extensions and or 90 report in Patong the extranet was down . seems to happen quite a bit now as its overloaded

Living in kata, ur not correct, info needs to be put into ur file online  NOT backup for paperwork

I believe Old Croc was being facetious.

The Thai government loves its paperwork, stacks and stacks of it,  and will probably not catch up with the rest of the world and go completely paperless in my lifetime.

Computers are still down today and that are filling out the 90 day report form by

hand When your turn comes to see the IO

Filling out the form at home as we used to do will save you time

Long wait due to no service yesterday

Did my 90 day report on line for the first time successfully.

Application away this morning, approval this afternoon (after they finally fixed CAPTCHA).

Also, no personal form needed.

It looks like that they have a bigger problem. Arrived yesterday at hkt and system was not working properly. They can't scan passports and can't do checks.

That may be just to much of a co-incidence.

Sunday the computers go out at the immigration at  swampy, now the proplems are at Phuket immigration.

Mayne i'm just paranoid or maybe not.

They should change to 3BB, excellent quick same day service if you have a internet problem

I went to Patong on Tuesday and they told me to come back on Thursday (today ) . Does anyone know whether they are processing 90 day reports at Patong today ?

I have just returned from Patong . Unfortunately they are not processing 90 day reports  so it was a waste of time . They told me to try Phuket Town or return on Monday .

Phuket Town was OK on Wednesday:

(Ignore the "Posted Yesterday..." - I posted this Wednesday, the day before yesterday. @Tech Doctor - something else for you to fix.)
