Possible solution to poor WiFi signal around the house or business.

Every now and then, there is another thread on TV about poor WiFi signal range and solutions to strengthen the signal and stop the black spots in the house.

I recently heard about this product.  I am not an IT guru, but it is not a range extender.  I believe it keeps the same SSID.  For the record, I do not own one so I can't personally comment on their performance.

The WiFi range of this product is huge.

They are not cheap and may not be available in Thailand for a while but could possibly be posted in.  They will probably become cheaper over time.

I thought I would let members on TV know as there always seems to be threads about poor WiFi signal range.  This product may help some of you out, particularly those with a business.

**** I do not work for Netgear and I do not sell these. ****

It's a mesh network arrangement, similar to the recently announced Google product.

Google Wifi will be available for pre-order in the U.S. in November. It will retail for $129 for a single pack, and $299 for a three-pack at the Google Store, Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart.

Personally I'd just go for Powerline adapters if you can't run a wire.

Powerline networking is the way I've set up extended Internet access over all 4 storeys of our shophouse.

I'm not an IT professional.  I heard about these and read up on them.  Their range was impressive so I thought I would post a thread about them.  I was not aware of similar products but accept there are other products that can do the job, maybe better or at a cheaper price.

Just trying to help out as WiFi range issues are common threads on this forum.  In any case, I now know about the alternatives you have mentioned.
