PHUKET: -- An EOD team were called to investigate a suspected bomb threat this morning (Oct 27) at the car park of Thalang Police Station. The team later confirmed it was a false alarm.

At 10am today, Thalang Police were alerted by the sound of a car alarm coming from a vehicle parked in the car park to their station.

Sen Sgt Maj Nikon Songkhao went to investigate and found that alarm was coming from a black Honda Accord with Songkhla license plates.

An EOD team were called to investigate, and while using a scanning device to check for any suspect devices the road in front of the police station was closed to traffic.
