President Kamala Harris
My point was that I assume they require proof of identity to register to vote as we do in Australia. But we don't have to provide ID to actually vote. Or are you saying at no stage either to register or to actually vote - is some sort of proof of ID required. -

Thai Airways flight runs off runway in Bangkok storm scare
Aviation is an excellent topic for the nudniks here to show off what they don't know. What none of you seem to know, is that a category III airport doesn't need visibility. Some of the planes can land themselves. Of course, you don't know this and why blemish your record or total ignorance. So when I saw someone here blaming the the visibility not being more than 3000 I looked up what I already know. Don't educated yourselves, but keep talking about things you are ignorant about. -

Sunday roast dinners
Just reviving this as I have a new favourite. I always cook my own roast but have tried the usual suspects - Londoner, Huntsman, Royal Oak, PJ, O'Sheas etc. Today I went to Kai in Sathorn (Kiwi restaurant). Absolutely superb, definitely the best I've had outside of my home. I had roast NZ lamb, lots of meat, thick slices, properly carved, not like the thin dry shavings you get at many places. Really succulent meat, good big roast potatoes, roast carrots, pumpkin (meh), peas, Yorkshire pud, roast onion, mint sauce and fantastic home made gravy. Not cheap - the lamb was 750, dry aged NZ beef (MBS 4+) 850, pork and chicken are 620 but very high quality and worth the money in my opinion. Bit out of the way though (for me) but a one minute walk from Saint Louis BTS. I think the Londoner is decent but this was a cut above in every way. https://www.kai-bangkok.com/ -

Gag! A tweet is not considered as a reliable source! Do you believe everything which is written on tweets?😃 Please show us a reliable source confirming that "The Biden/Harris Administration knowingly released a total of 425,431 convicted criminal illegal immigrants" -

Is Thailand Value for money
Did I miss something, as didn't know we were discussing a 'training diet', just healthier options/version diet of what most people eat. Which is crap, going by all the obesity walking around. That should be protein, healthier fats, fibrous carbs, little to no starchy carbs & no sugar, if possible. Depends what you're training for, strength or endurance or both. -

Married 20 years, war zone, no visa - denied entry to evacuation aircraft
My first stint as an expat was as a child in 1970, in West Africa. I bet most of you hadn't been further than Bognor Regis by that point. Over the last fifty-four years I've observed more than my fair share of morons, alcoholics, mentally ill, personality disordered weirdos in the expat community. And before you start, you will have met them too so you know I'm correct. Here today we have someone saying - my Thai wife couldn't get me Thai citizenship or the ability to buy land - so I won't bother ensuring she has access to UK citizenship. Some of you really need to think before you post.
