Good kidney dialysis in bang sue area

Featured Replies

I feel been using Bumrungrad for my kidney dialysis treatment. They're quite expensive at 10k baht per treatment. I've been told it's because of the pure water. Are there any other hospitals where the water is pure and safe?

I would take that explanation with a grain of salt. The dialysis solution is as good in any other hospital, but only some hospitals offer hemodialysis, if that is what you mean (as opposed to peritoneal).

A government hospital will be the least expensive option but waits will be long, conditions crowded etc.  There may even be a waiting list to get in, as they are struggling to meet the need for this among the Thai population.

Among private hospitals I suggest you contact the following for pricing:

St Louis Hospital  http://www.saintlouis.or.th/service/show/57e510cc0478820001000030

(website only in Thai, unfortunately, but contact info in English at the bottom)

Vejthani Hospital  http://www.vejthani.com/clinic_details.php?clinic_id=4

Yanhee Hospital -  close to Bang Sue http://yanhee.net/medical-services

Bangkok Christian Hospital   http://www.bch.in.th/en/obstetrics-gynecology-department2-2.html

Of the above I would expect St Louis to be the least expensive, though it is not near Bang Sue. It is a  non-profit hospital with good quality care but no frills. In the Silom-Sathorn area, walking distance from BTS Surasak station.

All will be much less than Bumrungrad. I just asked online at Yanhee and was quoted 3000 per session.
