Christmas And New Year's Cards?

Featured Replies

I would be grateful if anyone could suggest a place or places in Chiangmai for buying Christmas, "season's greetings" or New Year's cards. Obviously, the broader the range of cards, the better.

I noticed Tesco Lotus near JJ market has a new shop downstairs selling giftwrap etc. Not sure if they had cards, but worth a look.

Living Mall, the furniture superstore near Carrefour has a good selection - next to the customer service desk. Only 9 bt each.

Seen some holiday cards at DK and Suriwong Bookstores.

I saw a bunch of them for sale in Carrefour today.

Thanks to you both.

Haven't seen the card shop but just yesterday spotted the "Writers Club and Wine Bar" on Ratchadamnnoen.

It's on the left driving (and, on the left if walking as well) towards Wat Prasingh and perhaps 200 metres +/- before you get to the temple.

Thanks again to all for the help. I just got back from the card shop next to -- or rather, two or three shops in the direction of Thapae Gate from -- the Writers Club. Was pleasantly surprised to find some really nice cards there. In addition to cards with more traditional Christmas and season's greetings themes, I was charmed into buying quite a few unrelated but tasteful and amusing cards with Thai themes. The recipients will have to make of them what they will.
