Best place for Roast Dinners

Apart from cooking at home, I wondered where the best places to go are in CM. I have had a couple which haven't been great.Useful to know if a buffet or not as well as approximate prices.

Normally in meal, they serve Roast beef, Roast Lamp, Roast Pork and Chicken  etc. with Yorkshire pudding

 

Also served fish

follow that down till you see a 7 eleven next to a tesco lotus

on the left and its 150 yards on the right

 

opposite the dramatic arts college / schoool

I wouldn't try their roast if you are hungry. I had their roast pork and had to stop somewhere on the way home as I was still hank marvin, lol... The Yorkshire puddings aren't up to much either...

+1 for Kantary. Quality buffet for 650baht I believe.

 

For Sunday roast it's Yummy out at Mae Hia for me. Chicken, beef, pork and occasionally lamb for under 300baht.

Kantary is good for food and price mid week.

Archers is recommended by friends of mine though I have not visited.

Sausage King is my current favourite, buffet style so you can choose how much you put on your plate.

Yummy which I like, is down on my list for despite my protests they put too much food on the plate although they include Lamb and occasionally Ham, on their Sunday dinner.

I thought i heard her mention to another customer that they were having Lamb next week but it might have been wishful thinking

Wow, I figured by now there would be at least three touts for Gecko, and two more complaining about the sanitation.  And no mention of MD makes me think there has been a streak of deaths at the old folks home.

Well I'd give it a go..., I mean I like the look of it..., cause I reckon more veg is good..., and more in the way of 'salad choices' are also good..., don't get me wrong, I do like some flesh as well..., but I just prefer more healthy choices these days...., because I prefer to be active so I don't want to be weighed down with too much meat in my gut's..., plus, I don't want to go the way of so many farang in Thailand who have the "verandah over the toy box" thing going on...., also, airline seats are small enough without adding to the problem.

heres his main menu but he can probably do anything you want

 

his chunky beef stew is great :)

Not forgetting Sausage King....250bht.....UNLIMITED buffet Sunday Lunch.....Roast Ham, Roast Chicken, Pork...."pigs in blankets", yorkshire pud, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, veggies, gravy.....can't knock it for 250bht!

Yeah, SausageKIng may be great; if you can find the shop. You may look but it won't be easy to spot.

I agree it's quite easy to miss the turning but if you know the road and have the map just simply double back like we did the first time.  Now we know where it is exactly on the road we are fine.
