Parasites / Worms

Featured Replies

Hello everybody,

I'm living in Pattaya and I think I have some parasites / worms in my stomach.

Anybody have any idea of what to do? Which hospital would you recommend or what medication?

Thanks in advance

Almost any hospital will carry out the diagnosis and prescribe medication for this condition as it is very common and so I'm told, results in many cases from poor or non-existent footwear. I remember taking up with a guy once and having shortly thereafter to pay for a medical examination for his mother (from rural Isaan) which resulted in her being wormed. No-one in the family seemed at all surprised by this diagnosis. However I wouldn't self-medicate without a confirmed diagnosis

I know every hospital will carry out the diagnosis but I don't wanna go to Bangkok Hospital again, because it's expensive and I'm on a budget at the moment.

I don't consider the Memorial Hospital a good hospital after two visits there and I don't even think about going to the Buakao Hospital.

Is the Pattaya International Hospital on soi 4 good? Or any other clinic?

What makes you think so. Just curious. What are the symptoms.

  • Can't seem to pass the 64 kg barrier (177cm) no matter how much I eat, I even stopped playing football and tennis to see the result but nop. Can't surpass 64 kg

I haven't considered neither of them, no.

I considered H-Pillori which was not the case.

Now I think it's either a stomach ulcir or parasites / worms. I would prefer it to be parasites / worms to be honest :saai:

I've been having the following symptoms since I for 6 years, since I was 15.

  • Tendency to vomit often
  • Gastric acid climbing on my esophagus
  • Bad breath ( I brush my teeth everyday and using Listerine )
  • Feeling tired all the time
  • Can't gain weight ( My friends told me I'm ectomorphic thought, that could be the case )

With those symptoms you need to be checked for more than parasites.

As I gather you are in Pattaya area, I suggest you go to Phyathai Sri Racha Hospital. Contact Gavin Waddell in their marketing department ([email protected]) and ask him to suggest a good internist. Might also want to consider a check-up package while you are there.
