PHUKET: -- Official from Kamala Tambon Administration Office (OrBorTor) have confirmed that they have removed seven rusty steel rods that were buried in the sand at Kamala Beach.

Acting Chief Administration Officer (Palad) of the Kamala Tambon Administration Office (OrBorTor), Mr Kitikraisri Khaewwan, told The Phuket News today (Dec 1) that all the steel rods discovered at the beach were removed last week and that beachgoers should now be safe on the beach.

An odd story full of vagaries and contradictions.

The gist of this story is they don't have a clue if they removed all the rods so be careful when walking on the beach.

Gotta wait until the folks that invented the GT200 churn out a metal detector from their state-of-the-art facilities.

Not really newsworthy. Doesn't tell anyone anything accept they couldn't pull the, so far, discovered rods out by hand.

Headman's son on Koh Tao loan them the shovels?

Why is it so big deal?  7 unnecessary rods were taken out ...

Next time I will inform newspaper when I make my bad tooth out . Surely, it will be published ...
