I have a very clean iPhone 4 that is stuck on the black start screen the shows a cable with an arrow pointing to iTunes ,

 

if you hook it up to a computer it will not reboot ,

 

my friend works at the  AT+T shop and they could not get it to reboot either ,

 

So its probably something internal ,

 

The phone was always in a case and is real clean , but I doubt working it is worth 3000 baht ,

 

So any idea what might be wrong  and who to fix it around BKK, plus an idea on price ?

 

it may just be not worth fixing and just use the screen to fix the next dropped one !

I am guessing you are in BKK.  If so go to MBK (National Stadium BTS station). There are lots of people who fix phones there.

Yeah I may have to do that , but its a little like a lamb going into a slaughterhouse !
