The Sky News app used to be great for watching Sky News but as of about 6 weeks ago it stopped working, get a 'Error occurred loading this content'.  Watching via the internet works fine but the IOS app also doesn't work for Watch Live.  Assuming it's the same for others? Friends in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Phuket also same problem.

 

I'm wondering if they've made it a UK only service now or whether they've got a deal to provide Sky News on a paid package and needed to disable Watch Live or even if they plan to make Watch Live a paid service.

You can still watch Sky News Live stream through the YouTube app FYI.

Yah, as I said above, internet viewing is fine.  Just seems odd that they've chopped the feed from iOS ad TV OS app but kept it up via the internet.  Unless they didn't chop the apps and the API is merely broken (somehow I doubt that) or if they just haven't got round to sorting some geo location for You Tube that, once they do, will say "Sorry - content not available in your location".
