I have a friend who is doing some research on domestic workers, and is trying to find out some things about Chiang Mai. If anyone here has domestic workers from Burma working for them and could answer a few questions ( it could be done online) please PM me, it would be very appreciated. Further, if anyone could put me in contact with someone at the department of labor (or anyone else who would have statistics) please let me know.

Your friend might also want to contact the Migrant Assistance Program here in Chiang Mai, which has a lot of contact with workers from Burma. You can google them for contact info.
