but will have to move.

It is 24 hours banging with Chinese.

Anybody else have this problem?

Why are they so inconsiderate?

It's because most Chinese men can't get banged in their home country, so they come to Thailand for a week and bang 24 hours a day. You have to be a rich man indeed to get any p**** at all in China.

Chinese aren't the only ones. Most people seem to make a lot of pointless noise to me, with Thais being quite high on the list.

Technically short-term rentals in condos are illegal and many good buildings are making an attempt to have the law respected. So you might like to voice your concerns to management and the committee.

When you say short term, how long are you talking? Would be interested to see the law which says a private person renting out their private condominium 'short term' is illegal.

As far as I am aware legally it is a very grey area, and add onto that the difficulty in enforcing it.

As far as I know rentals of less than 30 days contravene the Hotel Act unless the owner is registered and/or licensed for such. In my experience very few owners are.

Additionally building regulations may specifically prohibit such activity. The better properly managed buildings seem to control this quite well as anyone who breaks building rules can have services (ie water) and common area access cut off.
