Your eyes did not deceive you.  If you buy Applecare, you can demand onsite repair from Apple.  The idiot repair places in Bangkok refused to come to LadPrao.  I made apple give me a brand new i7 iMac 4.2Ghz last month because the Thai authorized repair places refused to honor their contract with Apple.

 

I believe you will start seeing them honor their agreements because of me.  My case opened the eyes of many at the top of the Apple food chain to the problems here in Thailand.

 

Applecare is onsite.  Demand it.
