Police Checks and Visa Applications.

I'm in the process of applying for an Australian Partners Visa for my lady of four years. This is an Onshore application. We are well down the track of all the requirements and documentation required but still have two or three things to do.

One of those things is a Police Check for her.

We are going to be in Bangkok next month for a family visit so thought we would visit the  appropriate office on Rama 1 while there and get the ball rolling on the Police Check for the lady.

I'm sure many have had to get this check done and maybe things didn't go as expected. I would like to be prepared.  Any experiences or advice would be welcome.
