Is car parking still free at the airport? i need to go away for 4 days and was wondering if i can leave the car in the short term parking.

Bambina - are you sure about that? Last time I parked there was the last week of November (it was free then) and there were signs stating that charges would commence effective 1 December. I haven't been back since, but AOT no doubt change their minds with regularity.

By the way, I usually park on the 6th floor since there are actually spaces available on that floor and it's one floor down to the skybridge connecting to the terminal. Amazingly, the sealant (epoxy maybe?) that they had put down on the surface was already cracking up in many places and even completely gone in places, taking bits of the concrete with it. And this is after two months of operation??

I had checked from the TH website(12th) and the effective day (1st December) was posponed .

form a TH thread(14th)..it seems you guys have to pay (start from 16 Dec.)

Anyway , if i know something audate, i will let you guys know.

Does anybody know the charges for longterm parking? I am interested in leaving my car there for two weeks at the end of the year. I can find no information on the Suvarnabhumi site and their contact number is continually busy.

SHORT PERIOD RATE (Parking at at the Transport Centre )

1st hr =30bht

and then +30 bht for each hr (till the 6th,180bht)

For the 7th-24th = whole day paid 210 bht

LONG TERM RATE (Park at long term parking)

1st hr =20bht

and then +20 bht for each hr (till the 6th,120bht)

For the 7th-24th = whole day paid 140 bht

FOR the parking around Building A and B

1st hr =25bht

2nd hr=50 bht

3rd hr =80 bht

4th hr =110 bht

5th hr =145 bht

6th hr =180 bht

For the 7th-24th = whole day paid 250 bht

ส่วนที่จอดรถบริเวณอาคารเอและบี และลานจอดข้างเอและบีนั้น รถยนต์จะเสียค่าจอดรถ 25 บาทใน 1 ชั่วโมงแรก และจะเพิ่มเป็น 50 , 80, 110 , 145 และ 180 ตามลำดับ จนถึงชั่วโมงที่ 6 ส่วนชั่วโมงที่ 7- 24 นั้น จะเสียค่าจอดรถ 250 บาท โดยการจอดรถทั้งหมด หากมีเศษของชั่วโมงเกินมาให้คิดเป็น 1 ชั่วโมง ส่วนการจอดเกิน 24 ชั่วโมงให้เริ่มต้นนับชั่วโมงที่ 1 ใหม่
