India eases visa rules for Thais

INDIA has eased visa requirements for Thai nationals.

 

A five-year multiple-entry tourist visa has been introduced alongside a five-year multiple-entry business visa. Both visas allow stays of 90 days for each visit. 

 

An express service enables visas to be issued by the next working day.

Sounds OK doubt if many Thai's will be sneaking into India looking for a better paying job. 

Main utility may be for religious tourism. Buddhism began in India and there are many early religious sites.

Interesting so many travelers recently have popped up here with pictures which I liked. Should be more of the same. Interesting to see the birthplace of Buddhism. As I am getting older and am loosing my interest in travel its so nice of folks to bring the world to me in pictures which of course tell a 1000 words.
