Thermal pads

Featured Replies

Does any one know where in Pattaya or anywhere else I can buy small thermal pads or sheets for my ASUS Laptop?

Lazada have them but they are talking about 1 month delivery from China

Tukom ?

Thanks for that Don but I was thinking where specifically.

The lack of communication is sometimes frustrating when trying to convey what you are looking for

I'm trying to avoid traipsing around Tukcom  like the plague but if I have to I have decided that a photograph may help  better than words

Yeah sorry mate I dont know specifically, I used to  buy all my PC related stuff there but these don't bother and only  shop only online these days.

Can you use thermal paste as a stop gap whilst waiting for pads to arrive ?

Same here but the place  is different now than before.

Cannot use paste as I need about 16 of the small pads for all the chips around the GPU and CPU and the paste would run and be too messy

No luck with Thoma Don but he answered very quickly, so I went to TukCom and traipsed all over any likely places to no avail.  ( I hate that place )

So I will have to order from China and wait  patiently , they talk about 17th Feb to 26th Feb for delivery.

Im sure that this stuff is available in bangkok but from where I just do not know.

Thank you for your help

Well you could try the Tukcom at the recently opened Harbor Mall and the "original" Tukcom in Siri-cha

Thanks Johng but I have had enough of the pseudo  IT traders in Tukcom and have bitten the bullet and ordered from China (through Lazada)

Yes i know what you mean, I recently had a "teeth pulling" like experience there trying to buy a common ol garden PCI Express graphics card...its gone downhill a lot in recent years.

Complete waste of time for people building or repairing PCs or laptops just become a rip off place for me.

You would think that places like JIB who will sell you all the bits and pieces to build a PC at retail prices would at least have all the backup supplies that a home  builder would need but no they are not interested unless it is in the K s of baht
