Here's the pic of the brand new Lancer in its 10th generation. This version is bit larger than current version and is based on the concept-X presented at Tokyo Motors Show 2005. It is based on the same plateform as the new Outlander and will topped by the 2.0l 152hp engine with a 6-speed SportronicR CVT*2 transmission.

This version should be coming with the 1.8l engine and the Evo X is awaited with great enthousiasm.

After several years of decline and poor design, Mitsu is working hard to bring back its model to a better level with the Triton, then the new Pajero and Outlander, these 3 models offering a really improved quality-feel.

No info yet when it will be availble in the kingdom. Wait and see ...

It doesn't look right to me. A lot like the old model Misubishi Galant (Legnum) of the late 90's.

Maybe its the sort of car that will grow on people though. I didn't like the new shape WRX but it's slowly growing on me...

i indeed realised afterward that 'V10' was not the right writing. Initially, i was planning to write 'v10' standing for 'version10'. Somehow, i guess i was also hoping to get a V10 engine in the new Lancer. lol

I like the looks of that Mitsubishi. The dealer up here certainly didn't have anything that looked like that picture. I stopped very briefly at the Mitsubishi dealer and saw absolutely nothing that appealed to me.

According to Bangkok Post this Lancer will reach Thailand in 2008, and there will be a GT version with 200hp to match Civic Type R, too.

I don't think it's in production anywhere in the world yet. Thailand might get on made here mostly for exports as local market is too small.

I haven't seen any type-rs - of any model of Honda ever. I know the market is smaller - but they must sell a lot more Hondas here than in the UK - so why not sell a type-r here?
