Restylane for tear duct/under eye region

Featured Replies

I'm hoping that Sheryl (or other forum members) can provide advice about my question.

I have sunken eyes - a family trait.  This hasn't concerned me in my younger days, but as I get older, I feel that this area of my face is making my appearance look older than I really am.

I wouldn't be that concerned, but my job is as a kindergarten and primary grades teacher, where it helps to look young, white-skinned and female :)

I'll do the sex-change some other time :shock1:.

I've been reading up about fat transfer grafting into the under-eye and tear duct region, and I've also been learning about Restylane filler.  It seems that the effects of the filler can last up to 1 year, when it is placed in the tear duct region.

So I'm thinking to try out some Restylane filler when I visit Bangkok in a few months.

But I'm also aware that this procedure can be troublesome, and it is important to find a doctor who has a lot of experience with injecting fillers in the eye region.

Bottom line - can anyone recommend  a doctor in Bangkok who has a good reputation for Restylane injections in the eye region?

Unfortunately I cannot.

I tried doing it once and result was awful (ended up looking like bags under the eyes) so I then had to pay to get enzyme injections to dissolve the stuff

You could try emailing Yanhee and asking them

If you do this, insist that they use minimal amount as the stuff absorbs moisture such that what looks fine when they do it can later expand and create puffiness. It is easier to add more filler than to deal with excess.
