Value of Nikon D80 (for sale)?

Some years back my elderly father purchased a Nikon D80 thru a points system. He had some photographic background but at his age the camera was way too much for him.

 

Each trip back he'd offer it to me, but we have other cameras. Finally, I just took it.

 

We used it on one trip in the US with my father's 'use' I bet it doesn't even have 1000 shots on the camera.

 

LCD is small, but as a viewfinder +2.

 

It has a Nikon DX 18-135mm lens. Two batteries.

 

Any idea what this is worth in Thailand?

You can search on eBay for how much this might go for internationally (about 6,000 baht seems to be the answer). Pot luck what you might get for it in Thailand. Perhaps put it on Thai Visa Classified for 5k and see what you are offered?

Thanks. That's been pretty much my line of thinking to find the relative value. I'm not a eBay user so can't see the final sale prices of past items.

 

It's a tough call to sell it for 5k but we have two lighter cameras plus now a GoPro.
