What part of BKK is this place in???

Featured Replies

Lady says she lives in BKK, in "Taparluk."  I've never  heard of it before, but it is a very large city.  Any clues on where/what she means?  THX!

She meant Teparuk. It's almost in Samut Prakarn.

Thanks, Patyh!  Those Rs and Ls get them every time.  I even see it also spelled Thepharak.

The love of non-standardisation can sometimes cause major confusion.

Its IN samut prakarn-otherwise she would have used the BKK-khet name=distrcit. Mostly on maps as Theparuk.

Its a very long road south-parrallel of BangNaTrat, east from Sukhumvit, starting very close to the Baring BTS-end.
