Want to buy one, need to get in home.

seen an article that is 5 years old saying it can go on front and back carriage of BtS.

I have seen the odd bike on the bts. Your main problem would be travelling at a time when you will actually be able to get in the carriage.

Buses? Again, you would need to hope there is space.

Could you ride the bike home?

I would have too many bags.

I probably just need one bus ride and one MRT to reach train station.

I took my bike on the bts every morning to take my kid to school for 3 years - went for long ride home after, it was great. Alas the bts is not a bus.

On public buses. No. Can not.

Unless there are racks. Which there arent.

Edit: just actually read the op.

Ride it. What else is it for?

Or throw in taxi or tuk tuk.

You could consider using ThaiPost and mailing it to yourself.  If they can handle motorbikes, I'm sure they can manage a bicycle, either boxed or even open and simply strapped immobile.
