Register address for T M 30

Featured Replies

I will be going to immigration with my landlord, lease copy etc to register address. ( Chiangmai office) pay the 1600 baht fine etc. Anyone know how long it usually takes ? I would like to give my landlord a heads up as he has a job and can't wait all day. Any experiences welcomed. Thanks in advance.

During weekdays shouldn't more than 15 mins....thats my experience for the last couple of TM30 updated....

Just reminding: not today, closed.

Hmmm....perhaps an hour or two.  Previously, when you filed or updated at Building 3 at the old Immigration office, it took about 5 minutes.  Now, however, you have to do it upstairs at Promenada and that office is handling other matters besides TM30 filings/updates and they're giving queue numbers in order for all matters.  A couple of weeks ago, I had to wait a little over an hour to get an update but that was after lunch.  May be more or less in the morning.  Good luck.

Just remember its the landlord that pays the fine, for not

reporting you,not yourself.

Landlord should be quite happy to comply.
