Authorities plan to resume search in |more areas of Dhammakaya Temple today

BANGKOK: -- AUTHORITIES yesterday failed to find wanted former abbot Phra Dhammachayo during a large-scale search of the scandal-hit Dhammakaya Temple in Pathum Thani.

The third attempt to arrest the influential monk ended with police and officials from the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) leaving the vast monastery complex empty-handed, following a 14-hour mission that began before dawn.

DSI spokesman Woranin Srilam said yesterday that Phra Dhammachayo had not been found during a search focusing on specific areas in the massive temple complex.

With this public operation and warning can't he just move to a previously searched building?

No we have already searched them and his is not in them.  Besides he isn't as smart as us.

Just how incompetent can you get! If you want the world to look at you and think.... stupid, then this is a great example.

Now now, they did ask that we stop talking about them on social media because it is tarnishing their reputation.

The man is shielded and protected by millions of followers, and all it takes for him

to disappear is staying in someone house and wait for the storm to pass,

all these searches are waist of time,  the DSI should put a large bounty on

any information leading to his arrest and freeze his assets and declare him

a wanted person......

Stupid buggers. He is not there.

When this fiasco first started i like many others said he was gone.

DSI clowns were trying to save face, and ended up losing face BIG time.

Dhammachyao has too many supporters, too many people prepared to help him in any way.

Thankfully the reputation is intact. They still hold the same reputation of worlds most incompetent. Perhaps they should award themselves bucket loads of cash for trying. Then and onky then could we call it a job well done.

Somehow this entire charade reminds me of the animated title sequence of the original Pink Panther movie. Only this times it's literally thousands of Clouseaus chasing...

Maybe we all should chip together and order dunce hats in bulk to present to every officer involved - and extra large ones for the masterminds behind this expertly ineptly planned operation.

This is all quite clearly being stage managed.

We will let you choose your new SP, and in return we will allow you to enter the temple, do some press releases and unfortunately admit that the priest has disappeared.

You get your SP, we save our monk and you don't lose to much face having accessed the temple for a search. Everyone goes away content.
