Minor Surgery And Antibiotics

Featured Replies

i just had a wart removed on my chest and as usual i got a drug store full of pills, including the always popular antibiotics. i was reading this thread but its closed to new comments now

anyhow, i found this interesting https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1678238

i'm not a fan of taking unnecessary drugs and i'm healthy in every other respect, so i think i'll skip them, unless someone has some contra-advice?

thx

Its standard to get loads of antibiotics here.. i recently got bitten by a dog.. and did decide to take it because the wound was turning red. However for a wart on your chest that was removed by a surgeon (presumably clean) and the wound kept clean.. not so sure you should take it.
