BANGKOK: -- Phra Acharn Thammasak Jaruthammo, a monk who is close to Wat Dhammakaya's former abbot Dhammachayo, said Sunday the controversial monk had already fled from the temple.

Phra Thammasak said Dhammachayo sneaked out since last Thursday when Department of Special Investigation raided the temple to search for the former abbot.

Well then, tell the followers to go home and let the military in to sweep the area and prove it.  Did they push his sick bed out with him on it right past the DSI?

We are coming to get you, on yes we are.

Well maybe now. maybe later.

Please leave as we do not want to find you when get there.

Far to many big-wigs will be embarrassed if we find you.

a fictitious closed door meeting between semi-pure Phra Thammasak and semi-apt DSI officials:

P. T: "His Holy Purity has left the temple last year."

DSI: "No, no, you can't say that. Our image will be shattered, our face will pop right off and I can't even imagine Facebook! You have to say he fled just before the raid!"

P. T.: "Hmm. What's in it for me?"

DSI: "Now you're talking our language."

again, this is fictitious, it means it's pure fantasy and never, ever happened.

Probably not, since he made himself to heavy to move.

"maybe millions of followers"

Certainly not every Thais in the country are followers of Wat Dhammakaya, I dare say many disapproved!

If he fled already he follows only his collegue with his own private plane. Seems to be a common way avoiding troubles. Monks are not better than any truck driver who fled the scene after fatal accidents. No responsibility. Monks, drivers, generals.....

Then start arresting everybody for aiding and abetting a fugitive. And throw in some obstruction charges too.

Sounds good Dave but your not in Hawaii now. Things work just a wee bit differently here. Monk Messing is a no no. It could derail your trip into the afterlife.

It's like I already wrote last November. They won't find him nor catch him. He's gone to a country (or EU) that will never extradite someone to a country that has the death penalty (USA excepted).

I think he could easily be put on trial if they actually caught him. He's not mainstream and doesn't actually have millions of followers.

Most people seem to think he must have gone months ago but now they're saying he only went last Thursday. It could be that he's actually still in there and that's why they're putting up such a fight.

Totally a big joke come on everybody knew he sneaked out what did they think money here is a get out of jail card Monopoly Games TIT

In Monopoly terms, his luck/all others' trouble is: he owns the Bank, LOL

(Imagine a Monopoly game with no fake-paper-money but fat bunches of real big Dollar bills, and meg-large houses/hotels in solid gold)

All the many, many not yet brainwashed and manipulated Thais do IMO very much disapprove! (But as they are as usually very much afraid to express any kind of personal opinion towards the outside world, and the more so to oppose the views of powerfull groups...)
