Mail: Header shows it's from Apple Store

Featured Replies

All of a sudden or at least I just started noticing it, mail I'm receiving (mostly to my gmail account, but also to my @me account) has the header "Apple Store" and it's nothing to do with Apple or Apple Store.  This is coming from at least 3 completely different sources/email senders.

How do I switch this off or reset something?

It could be phishing email. At the very least it's spam. Mark it as spam so next time it heads straight to your spam folder.

No, these emails are coming from legit sources that I regularly get email from.

I think I am narrowing it down to a bug/glitch in Contacts.

If I understand that right then that sounds more like your sources/senders email accounts have been hacked or their computers being hijacked/infected.

What do you mean with "header", is it the subject line or do you mean the sender address?

And the content of the mails are plausible/relevant, looking like they come from your known sources?
