I'm planing to fly to Germany in April. A few search engines recommend various Chinese Airlines and Vietnam air for a bargain. Anyone have some experience with them?

VN air used to ve very good between BKK and HAN / SGN but last time I flew them they'd cut back on the inflight services. Still a good aircraft and flight crew though.

 

I would expect them to have full service available on long haul flights.
