Clear to see who was at fault from this gif. One man drives across the track into the other two.

A commentator for channel 4 stated that Seb basically skipped in to the stewards room, not a care in the world

For a guy with 7 penalty points he should have been sweating ...

Rumours of the stewards getting a very short phone call from a guy with an Italian accent "We know where you live" maybe true...

It was great.... As soon as the rain started, I had Lewis for the win...

Was still a shock stood at turn 11 and seeing him come past in the lead on lap 1 :)

I'm considering going to the Singapore or Malaysian Grand Prix next year. Would you recommend it? I've never thought of a grand prix as a particularly good live spectator sport, though love it on TV. Do you have any idea what's going on most of the time? Big video screens around? Or do you rely on the order of the cars as they come past?

Malaysia would not make a good choice since this year will be the last F1 race there.

I would recommend it once, just for the atmosphere... Singapore has lots going on inside the track, all weekend. Some good live concerts etc.

Big screens everywhere to watch on.. We actually watched the majority of the race on a big screen at the bar, once the initial mayhem died down..

3 day pass provides best value..

Been to Malaysia F1 twice, last one was 2009 when it got a little wet... and got red flagged.

What was worse was Bernies silly idea to move the race to late afternoon so by the time the track dried out enough it was getting dark.

so what happened to vettel, after the race was finished

Looking at the video, Vettel blames Stroll for drifting out wide, but if you look at the darker area of the track on the inside line, it's clear Vettel turned into Stroll. Vettel's head is in another place at the moment, back to his pre championship mind.

The Stewards ain't taking any action...

However, after examining video evidence the stewards determined neither driver could be considered ‘wholly or predominantly to blame’.

“On the approach to Turn 5 during the slow down lap after the end of the race, Car 18 (STR) was towards the middle of the track, Car 8 (GRO) was closing from behind on the inside of Car 18 and at the same time, Car 5 (VET) overtook Car 18 on the outside and in doing so, turned in slightly towards the apex of Turn 5,” read the official FIA report.

“Simultaneously Car 18 was moving slight away from the apex. This resulted in contact between the left rear tyre of Car 5 and the right front tyre of Car 18.”

Maybe there should be a speed limit after the first bend that drivers have to slow down for after the chequered flag and no weaving about until well past that bend.
