underlining

why do writers in Pattaya and elsewhere  feel they have to underline so much & so often and thus make it more difficult to read ?

Any post underlined or in weird or oversized fonts can be reported and we will either un underline them or remove the post, as you say it makes them difficult to read as well as making work for us.
