Myanmar flights out of BKK are normally the cheapest, either Air Asia or Nok. Just be wary of Nok the headline price did not used to be the final price. I am assuming a phoney flight of course where Visa issues are irrelevant

?

Cheapest I find for AirAsia in October is 1290 on few dates.

KL is cheaper.

Sure it is a case of searching all options. I guess logic says that Hat Yai to KL shortest so theoretically should be cheapest. i refer to Myanmar because flights they are cheap and it is a destination that could easily be overlooked when searching for phoney flight.

Raining outside so just searched Air Asia to try and find sub 990 baht for International flights but unsuccessful. However can get flights DMK to KUL, Yangon or Mandalay, Ho Chi Minh  and Hat Yai to KUL all for 990 at sometime during October.

Of course cheapest flights usually need somewhat ahead booking.

Next ones 11 and 13 Oct.

Then 25, 30, 31.

Plenty in November (Tue, Wed, Thu).

Also 990 available.

I mean even AirAsia needs a minimum cost contribution per seat.

So to come back to the thread title (" ... cheaper than 990", international): No is my bet.

Great thread.

An adjacent question:

What are some of the best search engines covering Thailand/Asian airlines?

My favorite is Google Flights but I just discovered how it miss a bunch of Asian airlines.
