Bee stings prove fatal for man

By The Nation

A 53-year-old man died four days after he was attacked by a swarm of bees when he cut down their hive in Kamphaen Phet province.

Kamol Meekhum died at the Kamphaeng Phet Hospital at 7pm on Friday night.

His relatives said Kamol was attacked by a swarm of bees on Thursday. The bee stings left him unconscious. Doctors at Lan Krabua Hospital managed to resuscitate him. He was later transferred to the provincial hospital where he succumbed.
