Where To Buy A Decent Printer

Featured Replies

anyone know of a good place to buy a basic printer and paper on koh phangan?

...or do they have them at Tesco Lotus in Samui?

They do have in Tesco Lotus, but I chose to buy a printer/scanner from a small shop on ring road cause of lack of choice. 3650 baht and all cool. Paper is, I think, 65 baht a ream for the cheapest recycled

big waves now girlx, I would wait or try one of the computer shops in Thong Sala, the one near Beck's bar has printers.

Hi Girl X

I would talk to Patrick & Rachadee at Ban Computer, they can usually sort out good deals on computer stuff, and provide a good bach up service.

As for paper,I buy mine in tesco lotus it far cheaper than here on KPG.

where is ban computer? thx

Patrick is in Ban Tai, before Nira's bakery, but doesn't carry much stock, rather he orders it in for you. PM me and I'll give you the number if you don't mind waiting.

Otherwise the computer shop on the main pier road, just past Becks' beer bar and the shortcut road carries printers.

Thecomputer shop near to Jungle Jim in Thong Sala has a couple of HP printers in there. Not sure of the price but he tends to be "reasonable" considering it is KP. Need to support the local businesses if you want it to get better.

tesco lotus is still the best buy, otherwhise go online to one of the big discount stores in bkk

All very well untill things go wrong,

I now buy locally when possible, I pay a little more in the knowledge that I dont have to trek all the way to BKK or Samui to get something fixed under warranty (this applies especially to electrical goods) Patrick (Ban Computer) always gets my buisness for this very reason.
