Recommended dental clinic in BKK

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend a good dental hospital or clinic in BKK?

I need a specialised root canal to remove an infection.

Not a normal root canal but I'd like to find a specialist as its a bit tricky.

Does anyone have a BKK dental clinic or hospital they can recommend?

Thanks

I like BIDC (Bangkok Internationsl Dental Clinic) in Huay Kwang. I am sure they can handle that. Not the cheapest but have all the latest equipment...more like a Dental Hospital than clinic.

Try Dr Sunil Dental Clinic in Phrakhanong….they have 2 RC specialists on call…the lady doctor is particularly good, gentle and thorough.

If you want the best Endodontist in the area, I would recomend Dr. Suwat Pisuttikulchai. He works at the St. Louis Hospital on Sathon Road a couple days a week, I believe Sunday and Wednesday Phone 0-2675-5000. I was actually recommended to him by my Dentist Dr. Pokpong Amornvit, who is located at the S Sathorn Clinic on Soi Suanplu 8 phone 0-2287-4922. Both speak very good English and I have used Dr. Pokpong for crown and also a dental implant. But for the root canal Dr. Suwat is very well known and did excellent work on mine. The total cost of mine was 7820 baht at the St. Louis Hospital. I imagine the price can vary with the individual patient’s needs. I am not really sure if you need a recommendation from a dentist or not but in my case I had one. Good luck.

Thanks for the information, most helpful!

have noticed that many dentists in bkk seem to have major problems even before you get in the chair.

have experienced irregularities with setting appointments, getting there and waiting a half hour after the appointed time, etc etc. just seems odd and unprofessional.

the centers that look so nice and fancy seem to be the worst culprits.

is it all just window dressing? hope thats not the case with the dental work.

Hope this is still helpful. I use Thantakit International Dental Center in Bangkok. The one at Petchburi Road. They're highly recommended. I had two root canal treatments with them and I'm happy with the results. Dentists and staff spoke English fluently as most of their patients are expats. State-of-the-art building too. Free coffee, free hotel transfers, etc. They're quite well-known in the field of dental implants.

Bangkok Smile has done a lot of reconstructive work for me.  Crowns, bridges, and root canal. Office on Asoke and root canal done at their office on Soi 5. Very happy with Dr. Saravudh who speaks English well. bangkoksmiledental.com. Call center 02 664 2800

I usually just walk into a regular clinic. Good prompt service and good prices. Unless it's difficult work the fancy clinics are a waste of money.
