Electricity - Pea The Only Option?

Featured Replies

Are there any companies offering cheaper rates in Pattaya like they do overseas with re-billing or is PEA the only option?

PEA is the Provincial Electricity Authority of Thailand, yes?

As far as I know, my billing comes from EGAT - Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand. I don't know how these two authorities are linked or if they are merely two arms of the same animal. Possibly, one is responsible for generation and the other for distribution?

Maybe someone more knowledgable can enlighten you.

When you run a guesthouse with 8 rooms and the bill is 20,000 baht a month minimising cost even a little helps raise profits.

Yes for a domestic situation its cheap.
