The nitrogen cylinder containing six vials of frozen human semen has been sent to Khon Kaen hospital for examination to determine whether the specimens were sperms, eggs or embryos, said Dr Chatchaval Riththiti, deputy health chief of Nong Khai, on Friday.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Taliban fighters have probably killed and wounded more than 50 Afghans in an ongoing attack on a mosque and dining facility inside an Afghan military base, a U.S. military spokesman said, describing it as a "significant" strike.

TEL AVIV (Reuters) - U.S. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said on Friday that Syria had dispersed its warplanes in recent days and that it retained chemical weapons, an issue he said would have to be taken up diplomatically.

US seeks report from government on trade practices by May 10

The US has asked Thailand and 12 other trade partners – Canada, China, EU, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Switzerland, Taiwan and Vietnam to submit a report on their trade practices by May 10, the trade counsellor at the Thai Embassy in Washington informed the Commerce Ministry on Friday.

Phuket developer faces residents' revolt, Consumer Protection Board over unpaid water bills

PHUKET: More than 300 residents of the Phanason Residence Phuket in Kathu filed a complaint with the Consumer Protection Board (CPB) yesterday (April 21) after receiving threats from the Phuket Provincial Water Authority that their water supply will be cut off due to outstanding bills.
