A jealous Thai husband aged 41 has killed two men who he said were messing with his seventeen year old wife.

Narin Khunthong told Phanat Nikhom, Chonburi, police that he had warned the two men three times to stay away from his wife who he married two years ago.

But he said they ignored his warning. So he grabbed a kitchen knife after his wife went missing and went out with murder in mind on Thursday evening.

He met a man called Suphachai Surawut who told him that his wife was with Narit Nakrop nearby.

He slashed the neck of Suphachai then went in search of Narit.

He found Narit flirting with his wife in front of the temple of Wat Thung Hiang.

He slashed the neck of Narit leaving him for dead outside the temple then fled.

He was apprehended at the house of his grandfather after a four hour manhunt.

Narin was later taken on a reenactment to the temple and 200 meters from there where the other man was found dead.

Some 200 people turned up to watch as he reenacted the crime and admitted what he had done.

He faces charges of premeditated murder.

Yawn... thought the reenactments were banned?

married at 15

He threw away the rest of his (free) life because of this? Lock him up! Too stupid to be left roaming the streets unaccompamied.

If I can't have her then no-one can, err except when I'm in prison. Enjoy shower time???

Can't believe this, just read another TVF post of a 16 year old girl being stabbed to death by 4 guys.

Some good news for a change would be welcome, like no one dead today, but a chicken crossed the road and almost didn't make it to the other side, when ask by a reporter, why the chicken crossed the road, the chicken just looked at the reporter and said; because I can 555

Thought the chicken crossed the road to see his flatmate.

Marrying a 15 year old girl, when you are 39,you are just asking

for trouble.

Nah! He crossed the road to get away from the pervert.

And this fella apart from being a murderer isn't far off being on of them too. If he had been married for 2 years, the girl would have only been 15 at the time.

Easier to just get proof they were messing with wife and sue them for all, which is allowable under thai law. But i suppose he has nothing and they have nothing so next best thing for him

Amazing that with every high profile murder case you'll always see a police

Lt. general in the forefront never missing an opportunity for a photo opp

while a lower ranking office are quite capable of handling the situation...

Glad to hear there was a good turnout for the reenactment.....morbid ********!

Self serving ego mongers...They have nothing else going on in their pathetic lives. Living from photo op to photo op.

So this sort of thing does not happen in other countries?

Are the chickens coming home to roost in this society? Is this type of crime a consequence of the excessive - nay, obscene - fawning over the male from the day they are born to the day they die?

In the absence of hard statistics, anecdotal evidence has to suffice, but it seems to me that violent and passionate crimes caused by a loss of self control are on the increase. If you go back 30 years when newspapers and media outlets were able to afford stringers in every corner of the country and had well-stocked newsrooms, there weren't as many reports of such crimes, unlike today when news groups have thin and stretched resources.

The adoration of the male also seems to have grown excessively in recent decades to the point where, in my opinion, it has become a cause for concern to the well-being of society as a whole. You can't have this unfettered allowance for every aspect of a person's behavior without there being some consequence -- the Little Emperor syndrome is the obvious one. The excessive fawning and absolute refusal to criticize the male has resulted in an ego so fragile that there are no thoughts of the consequences of his actions because he has never had to face them. Consequently, you have what we are seeing now -- a rise (in my observation) of violent crimes.

Colonel Saunders was chasing the chicken.

Would that not be Lt Colonel as we are in Thailand? The more ranks and medals, the better.
