sick and tired of police stops and extortion in chiang mai.   i did not move to chiang mai to be stopped , harassed , and extorted by the police on a daily basis..  i do not want to hear from you old farts that will tell me to get a license and helmet .   one  week its an international license , the next week its your rear foot pegs are down.( yes an actual ticket).  its pure harassment that no one should have to put up with .  this is what i picture happening in places like china or russia .  why does the army let them do this.  why do the people of chiang mai let them do this. if they(police) are so stupid to believe this is not affecting  tourism and quality of life in chiang mai then its is people duty to inform them.  do not let police ruin this beautiful town and way of life.
