Really nobody?

I think the road to Bottle beach goes from Chaloklum near the 7 11 and Pharmacy?,  I vaguely remember someone posted a few years back that it was now paved..

Last time I went there, I kayaked it there and back, about 9 years ago!

Be sure to let us know !

The road to Thong Nai Pan is concrete, from where you turn off to bottle beach is still dirt, not recommended on bikes or cars with low clearance (4WD suggested).

The road to Bottle beach branches off at the top of the hill down into Thong Nai Pan.  There is a walking track from Chaloklum that they tried to widen a couple of years ago but that is dirt and in really bad shape.

Glad to hear that the road is still an obstacle to the flashpackers. One of my ( and of course many others ) favourite beaches, but if the concrete goes down on the road, it's doomed to be another ruined beach like Had Rin.

Mind you, the rot set in many years ago when the concrete thing was built in the middle of the beach. Sad indeed.

I am sure it's inevitable that the road will become paved. I remember the days of the road to Haad Rin not being paved and taking a boat there from Thong Sala in low season.

Hello, any resort at bottle beach ? is it a very nice beach far from crowd ? Thank you.

Used to be THE beach for the hippies. Still very nice, and probably quiet, as difficult to get to.

Get boat from Chaloklum. Unless a few others going too can be expensive. Smile bungalows are probably the best bet for that "how it used to be" vibe, but not with huts actually on the sand.
