No, was a forward

Ah yes. The chap who was manager in 1970. I can picture him, grey hair swept back. I can't remember his name.

Just watching a program about Steven Gerrard.  Gave me an idea for a question:

Which three shirt numbers did he wear for LFC during his career?

Come on, give us a realistic chance, you can set better questions than that.

You can always You-tube (and enjoy!) some of his many goals. Anyway, the tough one is 28 (two seasons) the others he wore for at least five years each.

There's only one video of Stevie 'Slippy' G worth watching on YouTube, and he wore number 8 that day.

A better question would be (yes you Scousers  will know it but let's see if others do): in that Liverpool 0v2 Chelsea game, which Liverpool player took the corner that went straight to Chelsea from which they broke and scored the second goal?

8 is correct so just one number to go.....And Iago Aspas was the culprit passing the corner directly to Willian....oops, Sorry!????

normally before they make it in the first team, players normally make up double digits that make their first choice... so I'd go for 17 or 26

Well worked out mate. 17 is correct.....Question wasn't so  'unrealistic' after all.???? Your turn to pick one. You'd better make it an easy one as we don't want people losing heart.
