The last time I checked the dial there was only one English radio station, and a poor excuse for one at that. They are ALL Thai.

That so called Poor Excuse for a Radio Station is TRS 103FM..

Some of the Music is Good..

I believe you're looking for a Thai radio station?

F.M 107.5 PATTAYA

The EL one is just a typical local station and I'm sure they have some audience figures for you.

If you DO want EL stations there is also 107 Bkk (EL music/Thai dialogue) and 88 FM (EL news and music) Bkk, both can be picked up in Pattaya in some areas.

89.5 fm. Western Music and no DJ's. I always listen to it in my car. None of the other non-thai stations are worth a slot on my radio pre-sets!!!!

89.5 does play the best music, I alwyas liten to that one omostly when I am in Pattaya. TRS or Payttay Bay Raido 103 seems to cater to the 60 and up crowed and since they have voulenterys that come in a play music, it can vary a lot. I used to listen to 106.6 Quiltiy FM had a nice mix of Thai and english soungs, but now they have the big mouth Thai DJs that will talk over songs and go on for 5 or 10 min just running thier mouth. 89.5 is the best for english, lots of thais listen to 97.0 ......most of these are those community statiens that are suppose to be at 25 wats, but most are useing 300....

I did notice one statin is back, that is 89.75 Raido Active, this is a reallly bad station, but all english....thier transmitter has a buzing noise and even in South Pattay it is not clear....it was gone for months then about 1 week ago noticed it was on agian.....

I think the poster wanted info on what stations thai likes so he could do some advertiseing.... guess it depends on what he was to sale as some stations are for an older group and others are for younger...

Thank you. Any station playing music all day is bound to hit a few good ones, it's just that the station is painfully amateurish...along the same lines as Pattaya TV without the pictures. I was surprised when I first came here that there were no decent FM stations considering the population of foreigners and tourists here.

get on the internet, any radio station in the world is there, OR get satalite radio, okay, it is a subscription, but if you want it, you are going to have to pay for it, sorry

True - but many FM stations (even in the states) are still not available on-line and in the UK last April, new legislation was introduced that makes commercial radio stations there liable for the extra music royalties they should be paying because of their overseas reach - but, of course, in reality this is almost impossible to calculate.

As a result some stations are not available on-line to overseas listeners (ie outside the UK) unless you use a router like Hide IP Platinum or similar.

Yes, radio stations all the over the world broadcast over the internet now. There is a farang radio station in Hua Hin, Surf 102.5FM. They broadcast via www.surfhuahin.com and have news from rdaio thailand and bbc. Pretty good as well.
