The bass speaker for my home cinema system is not working. Don't know if it is the speaker or the amp outlet. Does anyone know where I might get it checked out to verify if it is indeed the speaker that is not working? 

 

The power light on the speaker is on, so there is power. music is playing through all other speakers.

 

I am Bangrak  area.

Try the shop next to "Safety Mind", opposite Tesco Chawang...on main road... your side ...

I noticed yesterday, that the sign for "Safety Mind" is no longer there...  The shop I was talking about  has a Panasonic sign...

Yes, I went there Jim.

Unfortunately he said there was a problem with the integrated circuit and he couldn't fix it.

 

Will have to buy a new one when next in UK and ship it out, as not possible to buy here.

Had the same problem and they, opp. Tesco Chaweng, said to me exactly the same. Went to the JBL shop opp. Big C and bought a nice new one for 10k. They have 10 and 12 inch.

 

Last time a bought one was in the, can't remember, 10-20 years ago, JBL/Denon shop were at Menam, and the same sized bass subwoofer costed 18k.

Ouch! 

 

Not always easy here to get some things done here ... same happened to me with a good computer screen... but it was not the local guy who would not fix it, it was the manufacturer that would not send him the part needed...
