BANGKOK: -- A university student was killed and his teenage friend injured when the house in Samut Prakan province where they were playing online games with seven other friends was fired at late Thursday night.

 

Muang Samut Prakan Police Station was alerted to the shooting incident at 11.30pm.

 

Police said Natthadanai Chaemjaeng, 22, a third-year student of Chamber of Commerce University, died at the scene after being hit by a bullet under his left armpit.

 

His friend, Thanakorn Samakthqai, 19, suffered a bullet injury on his left arm and was sent to the Paolo Memorial Hospital in Samut Prakan.

 

Their friend, Suwicha Sangbunnag, 19, said he had invited the two and six other friends to play mobile online games in his house when they heard five or six gunshots and two of the bullets hit the victims.

Typical revenge drive by shooting. Its the new way for today's crooks to settle differences and instill fear into enemies. Happens in Australian cities all the time and the cops are pretty useless in stopping it as nobody talks.
