Windows 10 and iPhone photos - how to access?

I just upgraded my PC from Windows 7 HP to Windows 10 after reading in this topic that I could still do it for free. 

Although it took the best part of 3 hours the upgrade seemed to go OK and all components (both hardware and software) of my system seem to be working OK.

 

One small problem... when I plug in my iPhone to download my photos, I no longer see it listed when I open File Explorer.

Also, when I open iTunes I can see the phone listed, but I do not see Photos listed.

 

Any suggestions?

How can I access my photos?

Did you re-install iTunes once your system updated to Win10?

You're probably missing iPhone USB drivers.

Pretty poor of Microsoft to force users to have 2 different drivers to use their iPhones with WinX.

Mobile phone USB ports have multiple connection / emulation modes, hence the multiple drivers.
