'Priew' mental health test normal, but difficulties adjusting to prison

BANGKOK: -- The mental health test of a female suspect currently detained in Khon Kaen on charges linked to the much-publicised murder and dismemberment case found that her mental health condition was normal, Khon Kaen prison warden Weerachai Petchrat said on Sunday.

 

The prison conducted the test on Priyanuch “Priew” Nonwangchai after she looked stressed after being detained.

 

However, Weerachai said Priyanuch seemed to be unable to adjust her sleep patterns as she used to work at night, he said.

 

Two others suspects, Kawita Rachada and Apiwan Satayabundit, had appeared to adjust themselves to the prison environment, he said;

 

The three suspects have been charged with the premeditated murder of Warisara Klingjui, whose dismembered body was found buried in a field in Khon Kaen late last month. The three fled to Myanmar after the murder and surrendered this month.

 

The warden said suspects pending trial were responsible for their own schedule and not required to join prison activities although they could if they so chose.

What's next Nation, are we going to read headlines about their difficulties to wash their socks?

 

Instead, Nation how about some follow up on important stories, examples: progress reports on the politician who is charged with killing the mega rich guy by crashing his car, the current status of the charges against Anna Reece, to contribute to fair and balance justice etc., etc.

Someone who strangles to death her one-time friend and then dismembers the body in a local hotel -- apparently without any real remorse -- is found to have "normal mental health."

Technically, she hasn't been official charged yet, and definitely not convicted at this time, so that wouldn't apply to her.

Temporary insanity is a real thing I  am a few times a witness of!.

 

Also a very brief fit of mad rage due from a Thai persons loss of face.

If you call this mental issue well err must be a big problem!

It is for all thosethat face charges that carry the death penalty during remand, convicted or not. If she is not charged yet, that may be an other story.

I read a lot of articles about this case. But there was never mentioned, what was the motive for a murder? Was she involved in drug business with them? Does anybody knows? You won't just dismember somebody else out of blue for nothing.

Heard so many times from regular Thai person to top government officials that Thailand is different from any other country - in that context the mental health test is normal. And I predict the same normal result if there were a test of the mental health of the RTP posing for selfies with the murderess. Because Thailand is differently normal.

One early report I read stated that the victim owed money to the killer.  True or not, I don't know.  It was also reported that the victim reported the killer's husband to the cops for drugs,  He was arrested & convicted, and is now serving time.  So that could also be a motive.

Earlier media reports said she was angry because the other girl (now murdered and dismembered) owed her 40,000BAht and didn't pay up.

 

There was also a report that the murderer was angry because the now dead girl gave info. about the murderers supposed involvement in the drugs trade plus her bf also involved in the drugs trade.   

 

It's also been specifically reported that the dead girl (a prostitute) was a police informant.
