KALASIN: -- A mother has appealed for help from a government watchdog after it emerged that her ex husband filmed her daughter in the shower and masturbated using the footage.

 

The man is a serving school director in the Kuchinarai district of Kalasin in Thailand's north east region.

 

Yesterday the mother, also a teacher, took her 19 year old daughter to Damrongtham to appeal for justice in the case.

 

She said that she had already reported the matter to police and the education authority in the area in August last year but nothing had been done to help her and her daughter.

 

Now she has lodged complaints with not just government watchdog Damrongtham but the governor of the province and the Paweena Hongsakul foundation that helps women and children.

 

The case started to emerge when the younger brother of the girl found still images and video of his sister in the shower on his stepfather's phone.

 

He erased the images himself and not wishing the family to be split apart kept the matter to himself.

 

But after that when he saw his step father in person taking a video of his sister in the shower he could stand it no longer and told his mother and sister.

 

When asked about this the daughter admitted that she had been molested by her stepfather since she was in her early teens. He would touch her when her mother went out.

 

She was too scared to tell anyone and thought no one would believe her.

 

But after the case blew open she went on the Line application to say that when confronted with the allegations about filming her in the shower her stepfather had admitted using the clips to masturbate.

 

The parents have now divorced but the family want the school director prosecuted.

 

Damrongtham have promised an investigation after receiving the complaint yesterday.

Disgusting behavior, and he should be dismissed from his position of authority immediately, and dealt with by the courts.

Not surprising, everything is over sexualized here. From TV ads, to TV show and even the famous drama series usually picturing weak girls sometimes forced into relationships.

The girl is now 19yrs old but it happened in her late teens so I'm guessing that's 14-16yrs old.  The police will prosecute him and he should go to jail for a few years.

I was once told that when possible, if the parents separate the daughters in Thailand would go to live with the father due to the stepfather 'problem'.

I agree entirely. A country full of corruption and child abuse and the PM talks about some girl gyrating on stage and then blaming farang! 

 

Perhaps many TV readers do not have English as their first language and maybe not understand 'nonce'? May I ask your indulgence, in explaining that a 'nonce' is a sexual pariah (a person not accepted in a normal society)?

It is disgusting that police, in Isan, were not interested in helping a child and investigating a rapist, a pervert etc. especially when this person is a school director. There is something very disturbing here besides what this young lady has gone through!

I find that aberrant and wonder exactly what will happen to him, since he's also accused of sexually abusing her since she was 13 or 14. A school director no less. I assume he will be pensioned off and the way the "justice" system works here, will be surprised if he sees the inside of a cell. Just to save the school's reputation.

The physical abuse is NO-GO. the spanking the monkey part is what it is. Would i do it? No. Because i have no 19yo stepdaughter. Up to him. He liked doing it and got caught. Between him and the girl and her mum.
