Bus/Shuttle Bus, Patong to Airport?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if there's a bus service from Patong to the airport?

Or even a shared minivan service?

I'm trying google and getting a lot of out dated info... my hotel just keeps saying to book a taxi, 800 baht is a bit steep.

Surely there's some shared option from Patong?

Cheers

800 baht is fair price for a dorm to door private service. Or wait for minibus to fill up for 200 baht about. Just book at airport arrivals.  I still see the airport patong kata bus rolling about but limited schedule and not much less than minibus.

I took a metered taxi to Patong last week. Came out to about 770B.

800 baht is approx 32 AUD/23 USD for a approx 1 hour taxi ride,do you really believe it is expensive, i do not

If so compared to where, please do not use Bangkok prices, somewhere like Khao Samui would be a fairer comparison, that's a holiday destination the same as Phuket

Use the Grab taxi app.

Grab has fixed price for a car, and also metered for taxi.

Prices are usually 150-200 baht cheaper than anything else.
