Daylight phone robbery as man fights back

Picture: TNews

BANGKOK: -- A video posted online showed a man fighting back after a pair of thieves robbed him of his phone in a Ramkhamhaeng soi on Sunday morning.

The man was waiting for a bus in Soi 122 when one of the thieves approached and grabbed his phone. An accomplice was waiting on a motorbike a few yards away.

But the victim chased the men and managed to pull them off their bike.

The victim suffered head and arm injuries and the thieves managed to get away, reported Tnews.

But Wang Thong Lang police managed to make an arrest later though no further details were available.

Enyojed watching that. Well done

Too bad one of the passing taxis didn't pin the thieves on the bike against a wall, like that great video circulating of the purse snatching foiled in Saigon a couple months ago.

Glad to see he didn't get knifed to death like that poor University student, and so happy the cops made an arrest, sometimes you got to stand up for yourself, but at the same time weigh things up, me personally, I would have sent them into an oncoming car if the opportunity arose 555

Shoulda grabbed the keys to the motor bike and really kicked their asses.

This is my kind of hero.
But I wonder cant he shout ...thief ...thief and people rush to help him!
I wonder.
